A speeding motorist was caught by radar from a police helicopter in the sky. An officer pulled him over and began to issue a traffic ticket. "How did you know I was speeding?" the frustrated driver asked.

The police officer pointed somberly toward the sky.

"You mean," asked the motorist, "that even He is against me?"

      • Pony99CA : Just FYI, radar requires the car to be heading either directly toward you or directly away from you to get an accurate reading. As the angle increases, its speed will appear slower, which is OK if you're slightly off-angle as it will give a lower bound on the actual speed. However, that means radar won't work from a helicopter because the speed would always show as 0 (unless the car is moving up). Helicopters usually tell speed by using markers on the pavement at regular intervals. They time how long it takes a car to go from one marker to another, which allows them to calculate the speed.
